Eric C. Leas, PhD MPH, is an assistant professor at the University of California, San Diego and was previously a fellow at Stanford University.  Dr. Leas is among the first generation of scientist to come of age in the "Big Data" era. His research explores how new analytical methods and data streams can improve our understanding of public health and inform health policy, with primary applications in substance use research. He is PI of the tobacco e-commerce lab.
